Commissions

The artist accepts animal portrait commissions throughout the year.  She does not do human portraits.
  • Clients need to provide the artist with photographs that are extremely clear.  The most important features of an animal portrait are the eyes and nose.  If these details cannot be seen clearly, the drawing will not be as successful.
  • Portraits can be drawn using professional-grade color pencils or black graphite pencils. The artist will work with the client to determine the best media.
  • Portraits are completed on an 9x12" size stonehenge paper
  • Drawings are sealed with a preservative spray to help prevent smudging after completion; however, care still needs to be taken as smudging is still possible.
  • Drawings are secured in an acid-free plastic sleeve when finished.
